Windows, screens & interior
How often should I have my windows cleaned in Charlotte, NC?
For most Charlotte homeowners, we recommend professional window cleaning every 3–6 months. Properties near trees or high-pollen areas benefit from quarterly service. Commercial storefronts typically schedule monthly visits to maintain a polished appearance year-round.
What is RainBlock glass protection?
RainBlock is an invisible hydrophobic coating applied to your exterior glass after cleaning. It causes water to bead and roll off rather than sticking and evaporating into mineral deposits, keeping windows cleaner 2–3x longer than untreated glass.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Only if we're cleaning interior glass. For exterior-only visits, we just need access to the perimeter of your home and will send photos when the work is complete.
Do I need to do anything before you arrive?
Not much — we just ask that windows and sills are reachable. Our crew handles the rest: drop cloths down, shoe covers on, and your furniture, blinds, and décor treated like our own.
Will there be any mess inside my home?
None. We use a controlled, low-drip technique with absorbent cloths at every window, and we leave your sills and floors exactly as we found them — minus the dust.
Are your cleaning products safe for kids and pets?
Yes. We use gentle, low-odor solutions on interior glass, and every sill and frame is wiped completely dry before we move on.
How often should interior windows be cleaned?
Once or twice a year for most Charlotte homes. Kitchens, bathrooms, and households with kids or pets usually benefit from more frequent interior cleans — and bundling with exterior cleaning is discounted.
How often should window screens be cleaned in Charlotte?
At least once a year — ideally after Charlotte's heavy spring pollen season. Screens act like air filters for your home, and a year of pollen, dust, and grime noticeably darkens rooms and dulls curb appeal.
Do you remove the screens to clean them?
Yes. Every screen is carefully removed, deep-cleaned and rinsed, dried, and reinstalled in its original window. Wiping screens in place just pushes dirt into the mesh — removal is the only way to get them truly clean.
Can you clean older or fragile screens?
Yes. Delicate and older screens are hand-washed with soft brushes at low pressure. We inspect every screen during removal and flag any existing damage before we clean, so there are never surprises.
Is screen cleaning included with window cleaning?
It's our most popular add-on — bundling screen cleaning with an interior or exterior window cleaning visit is discounted. Ask for both in your quote request.
Pressure washing & soft washing
How often should I pressure wash my home in Charlotte?
We recommend pressure washing your home's exterior at least once a year in Charlotte. Due to the region's humidity and tree pollen, driveways, walkways, and siding tend to collect mold and algae quickly — twice a year is ideal for most properties.
What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing uses high-powered water to blast away dirt from hard surfaces like driveways and concrete. Soft washing uses low-pressure water with biodegradable solutions to safely remove algae, mold, and mildew from delicate surfaces like roofs, stucco, painted wood, and vinyl siding — without causing damage.
What surfaces can you pressure wash in Charlotte?
We pressure wash driveways, sidewalks, patios, decks, fences, garage floors, pool decks, siding, brick, and more. For surfaces requiring a gentler touch — roofs, painted wood, stucco — we use soft washing instead.
Will pressure washing damage my siding or roof?
Not the way we do it. Delicate surfaces — roofs, stucco, painted wood, vinyl — get soft washing: low pressure with biodegradable solutions. High pressure is reserved for concrete and brick.
Are your cleaning solutions safe for plants and pets?
Yes. We use biodegradable solutions and pre-rinse and post-rinse surrounding landscaping on every job.
Do you bundle pressure washing with window cleaning?
Yes — it's our most popular combination, and bundled visits are discounted. Ask for both in your quote request.
Is soft washing safe for my roof?
Yes — it's the cleaning method shingle manufacturers recommend. High pressure strips protective granules and can void your roof warranty; our low-pressure treatment removes algae without disturbing the shingle surface.
How long do soft washing results last?
Typically two to three times longer than pressure washing alone. Because soft washing kills mold and algae at the root instead of knocking off the surface layer, most roofs and siding stay clean for years — not weeks.
